These terms govern your use of the Numistry mobile app and website ("Numistry", "we", "us"). By using Numistry you agree to them. We've kept the language as plain as we can — honesty is the whole point of this product.
Numistry provides first-look estimates, not professional appraisals. Coin identifications and value ranges are generated by AI from your photo and are informational only. Accuracy is not guaranteed: photos vary, coins vary, and markets move. Before you buy, sell, insure, or otherwise rely on a coin's value, have it verified by a professional grading or appraisal service (e.g., PCGS or NGC). Numistry is not financial, investment, or purchase advice, and we are not responsible for decisions you make based on an estimate.
You retain rights to the photos you scan. You grant us the limited license needed to process them to provide the service (i.e., sending them to our AI provider to generate your result). Your saved collection lives on your device — see our Privacy Policy for details.
The Numistry name, logo, app, and website are our intellectual property. Using the app doesn't grant you any rights to them beyond normal personal use of the service.
Numistry is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Numistry is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You can stop using Numistry at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, IP) survive termination.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
